Nine days Summer camp

We planned nine days summer camp for the young and older children in our learning center. The camp consisted diverse activities; such as simple sowing, crocheting, singing, dancing, computer classes, arts/crafts. And as a final climax of summer camp, a visit to a local amusement park with fun and exciting rides for young and old.
We want to thank our volunteers who were with us all throughout the camp, Mrs. Dolly, Mrs. Usha and Mrs. Sethi. We also want to thank Mr. Richard, James, Suchitra and others who made it possible for the children to have participate in this event.

In the month of April we hosted two parenting workshops/meetings by one of our volunteers, Mrs. Dolly.
One was for younger children parents, and the other was for the older children's parents. Altogether we had around 30 or so parents attended. We distributed donated rice to the families.

Easter Celebration, March 2013

We celebrated Easter with the children. They learned about the occasion through the story, song, and video. They did Easter dance performances, both groups of the children. The drama of the Resurrection was also played out by the children. The older children recited the poems about the event.
